Trick Or Treat Trail
Buffalo Grove Park District
You never know who you will see at our Trick-or-Treat Trail! Walk through the trail, where friendly characters will hand out candy to all children. There will be games, entertainment, and more family fun. This event is a no scare zone; and parents must accompany children during the entire event. Turkey Trot & Sammy Scurry
Palatine Park District
Celebrate Thanksgiving by running in the 45th annual Palatine Park District Turkey Trot! Runners may choose either a shorter distance (approx. 2-miles), a longer distance (approx. 5-miles) or for the little ones, the Sammy Scurry. Take photos, enjoy free snacks and beverages and visit our sponsors. Register today!
Packet pick-up will take place at Community Center on: Tuesday, November 25 from 8:30AM-8:00PM and Wednesday, November 26 from 8:30AM-7:00PM

Get ready for a chillingly good time at our annual Spooky Skates! Join us for a Halloween-themed public skate full of festive fun, candy, and spooky vibes on the ice at Nelson Sports Complex. Skate to your favorite Halloween music while enjoying a rink decked out in spooky decorations. Dress up in your best costume for a discount—just $5 admission (costume required for discount). Skate rental is available for $4.
