Support moms in need with BGPD's pregnancy and baby supply drive
Throughout the month of May, the Buffalo Grove Police Department is collecting items for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). This is a government agency responsible for protecting children from abuse and neglect. It investigates reports of maltreatment, provides services to families in need, and ensures the safety and well-being of children. DCFS also facilitates foster care, adoption, and family reunification when necessary, working to support at-risk children and strenghtens families.
